Best Time to Visit Agadir: Weather & Seasons

When is the best time to visit Agadir?

Agadir is one of the sunniest places in Morocco, with mild weather and a beach season that lasts most of the year. The best time depends on what you want: summer for guaranteed sun and swimming, spring and autumn for warm days without the heat, and winter for a mild escape.

Agadir weather by season

Summer (June–August)

Hot and sunny, with the sea at its warmest. Perfect for the beach and water activities. Book morning slots for activities — it is cooler. A jet ski or a Paradise Valley swim is ideal. See jet ski · Paradise Valley.

Autumn (September–November)

Warm days and comfortable evenings — many say it is the best time. The sea is still warm, and the dunes and countryside are beautiful after the summer. Great for quad, camel and horse rides. See quad and buggy.

Winter (December–February)

Mild and sunny by day, cooler at night. You can still ride and swim, and the clear winter light makes for great photos on a camel or horse ride. See camel riding.

Spring (March–May)

Warm, green and not too hot. Paradise Valley is at its best in spring, when the water is high and the valley is lush. See the Paradise Valley tour.
