Buggy Tours in Agadir
Buggy tours in Agadir: drive yourself, no licence needed
A buggy is the most comfortable way to explore the country south of Agadir. You sit side by side in a 1000cc SSV with a proper roll cage, a roof and real suspension, so the sand tracks that feel bumpy on a quad feel smooth here. You drive, your partner or your children ride with you, and the guide leads the way.
No licence, no experience, no gearbox: the buggy is automatic. We brief you for a few minutes at the base in Sidi Bibi, hand you a helmet, and you follow the guide into the argan forest and out to the beach.
Our buggies and prices
| Buggy | Seats | Duration | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Buggy 1000cc | 2 (driver + passenger) | 2 h – 2 h 30 | 600 DH / buggy |
| Buggy 1000cc | 4 (family or group) | 2 h – 2 h 30 | 600 DH / buggy |
| Buggy SSV 1000cc, full day | 2 | Full day, lunch included | On request |
| Buggy 1000cc, full day | 4 | Full day, lunch included | On request |
The price is per buggy, not per person, and you pay on the day. A couple in a two-seater pays 600 DH for the machine; a family of four in the four-seater pays the same. That is why the buggy usually works out cheaper than several quads for a group.
The circuit
Everything starts at Sidi Bibi, about thirty minutes south of Agadir. From there you follow sandy tracks through argan trees to the wild beach of Sidi Toual and the dunes of Tifnit. You get long stretches of firm sand where you can accelerate, photo stops above the water, and a break with Moroccan mint tea, argan oil and local bread with honey in the dunes.
Because you are driving a vehicle with a roll cage and seat belts, this is also the version we recommend for anyone travelling with young children, or for anyone who prefers not to be shaken around for two hours.
Two seats or four?
The two-seater is the fun choice for a couple: lighter, a bit more lively, and you can swap driver and passenger halfway so you both get a turn. The four-seater is the family choice: two adults and two children, or three friends, all in the same machine with the same guide in front. Both do the same route at the same price.
What is included
- Free hotel pickup and drop-off in Agadir
- Buggy, fuel, helmet and goggles
- A local guide riding with the group from start to finish
- Mint-tea break in the dunes
- All taxes, no hidden fees
Bring closed shoes, sunglasses and clothes you do not mind getting dusty. A phone in a pocket is fine; a proper camera is better left at the hotel unless you have a dust-proof bag.
Buggy or quad?
Take the quad if you want the classic, physical ride and you are happy on a saddle. Take the buggy if you are two or more, if you want comfort, or if you are riding with children. You can also split a group: some on quads, some in the buggy, on the same circuit at the same time. Full details on our quad and buggy tours page.
