Buggy Tours in Agadir

Buggy tours in Agadir: drive yourself, no licence needed

A buggy is the most comfortable way to explore the country south of Agadir. You sit side by side in a 1000cc SSV with a proper roll cage, a roof and real suspension, so the sand tracks that feel bumpy on a quad feel smooth here. You drive, your partner or your children ride with you, and the guide leads the way.

No licence, no experience, no gearbox: the buggy is automatic. We brief you for a few minutes at the base at Takkad, about 30 minutes south of Agadir, hand you a helmet, and you follow the guide into the argan forest and out to the Atlantic.

Our buggies and the price

Buggy Seats Duration Price
Buggy 1000cc 2 2 h 600 DH / buggy
Buggy 1000cc 4 2 h 600 DH / buggy

The price is per buggy, not per person, and you pay on the day. A couple in a two-seater pays 600 DH for the machine; a family in the four-seater pays the same. That is why the buggy usually works out cheaper than several quads for a group. Departures are at 8:30, 10:00, 14:00 and 16:00.

The circuit

Everything starts at Takkad, about thirty minutes south of Agadir. From the base you ride into the dunes, follow sandy tracks through the argan trees, past small farms and greenhouses, and out to the Atlantic coast, where the sand opens up in front of the water. Then you loop back through the dunes to the base, with a mint-tea break on the way.

Because you are driving a vehicle with a roll cage and seat belts, this is also the version we recommend for anyone travelling with young children, or for anyone who prefers not to be shaken around for two hours.

Two seats or four?

The two-seater is the fun choice for a couple: lighter, a bit more lively, and you can swap driver and passenger halfway so you both get a turn. The four-seater is the family choice: two adults and two children, or three friends, all in the same machine with the same guide in front. Both do the same circuit at the same price.

What is included

  • Free hotel pickup and drop-off in Agadir
  • Buggy, fuel, helmet and goggles
  • A local guide riding with the group from start to finish
  • Mint-tea break in the dunes
  • All taxes, no hidden fees

Bring closed shoes, sunglasses and clothes you do not mind getting dusty. A phone in a pocket is fine; a proper camera is better left at the hotel unless you have a dust-proof bag.

Buggy or quad?

Take the quad if you want the classic, physical ride and you are happy on a saddle. Take the buggy if you are two or more, if you want comfort, or if you are riding with children. You can also split a group: some on quads, some in the buggy, on the same circuit at the same time. Full details on our quad and buggy tours page.
